This is interesting because there's so many angles to this story.

Although foremost he could have gotten an officer(s) killed or himself.

Second, is this a psychological problem or just a love for being a police officer? The kid from what i read lives on the southside. I don't think he has a father in his life. Is he going overboard or trying to do soemthing positive with his life yet not understanding the ramifications of his actions?

Supposedly he has done this before and I wonder what was done, if this  is true,  to take corrective measures.

When I wa sin high school, we had a guy that was in the police cadets (explorer program) that bought a bar and mars lights for his car. He worked at night as security for a trucking company. Then he bought a spotlight, a light for the dash, etc.

One of the suburb police departments pulled him over. His stepfather was a cop, so the officer confiscated the light bar and called his dad. His father was livid.

Eventually he became a cop but from what i heard, is now in a different field. ?
