Should the Elderly Ride the CTA for Free?

Here's the question:
SHOULD THE ELDERLY RIDE THE CTA FOR FREE?
Our answer is NO.
Our economy right now is the absolute worst not to mention the state of our city which is resembling Detroit more and more. Furthermore, why does one's age entitle someone to free crap? Plus, I have to run to catch the buses and trains. How many jangly boned people can run to catch their ride?
No disrespect, because we know things happen in life to alter one's conditions. But don't we also have these very same people getting in our faces to save, save, save, plan, plan, plan?
The CTA has been run into the ground by sheer mismanagement. You can't tell me that we keep getting funds to repair these lines and they're still broken down? How long has the Blue Line been constantly under repair?
